How will Christmas be different for you this year? Let us know in the comments.

The Positive Planner is a journal with a difference, for it can become your daily companion helping you be more organised while improving your mental health and wellbeing. It’s the original mindful gratitude journal that, used regularly, can inspire us towards better mental wellbeing through the use of positive affirmations, daily reflections and mindfulness activities.
It can take you on a journey of self-care, gratitude and daily positivity by encouraging you to make journaling and mindfulness an everyday practice. There’s sections dedicated to daily intentions and reflections, a mood checker as well as useful tools to enhance your own positivity and manage your wellbeing.
But outside of all this, it is a super useful planner at heart featuring those everyday organisational extras such as meal planners, shopping lists and monthly diary spreads.

Blush Hamper – WIN!
£37.99 from LoveGifts

Sweet treats and wine? Yes please, in fact what more can a girl ask for? This is a gorgeous blush pink themed hamper of treats that are simply delicious to look at let alone eat. We love this because as a mum who is normally expected to share, she can say ‘no way Rosé‘ (see what we did there?) and keep this exclusively to herself, with no guilt.
The hamper is packed with delicious treats and a bottle of Italian Nua Rosé. There’s also the option of personalising the gift card too which is an added cute touch.
As well as the wine, you get Simply Cornish Strawberry & Clotted Cream Shortbread, Treat Kitchen Strawberry & Prosecco Gummies, Buttermilk Strawberry Bellini Fudge, Joe & Seph’s Strawberry Cheesecake Popcorn all packed in a Red Carton Gift Box. There’s a wine glass on the photo, this isn’t included.
Ted Baker Opulent Obsession Box Gift Set
£44.99 from BootsÂ

Ted Baker never fails to bring joy and we loved this little gem. Have many of us given up on a make up routine during lockdown? I could raise a hand here that’s for sure, so a brand new set of make up in a gorgeous make up bag, all inside a luscious keepsake box too, would bring that arguably much needed motivation to get up and put your face back on.
You’ll get a Mini Blush & Bronze Duo, a Mascara, Nude Lip Gloss, Eyeshadow Trio Palette, Nude Lip Crayon, Eyebrow Pencil, Raspberry Red Lipstick, Cosmetic Pouch and that staple for a makeup bag; Eyelash Curlers.
The Opulent Obession gift set has some lovely natural colours, and who wouldn’t love a gift like that?
Kombucha Fermented Tea Set
£44.99 from Boo Chi as well as Not On The High Street, ETSY and Amazon.

This is what we LOVE, a gift that keeps on giving! Spending lots of time at home within the vicinity of the fridge inevitably leads to a less healthy lifestyle so we can often be found looking for new health hacks. This is one. Kombucha is a fermented tea which is fast becoming more and more popular. Fermented products are high in probiotics so are great for your inside health; a healthy gut is a healthy body!
This brew-it-yourself at home kombucha kit is an interesting and fun learning experience, it’s not a million miles away from the joy a sunflower growing at home brings for smaller children! You see something grow before your eyes, and the end result super good for you.
To get you started, your organic making kit includes an organic live SCOBY, a 3 litre Kilner jar with a tap (for easy dispensing), and all the essentials you need to make your first batch! (*SCOBY is the commonly used acronym for “Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast,” and is formed after the completion of a unique fermentation process of lactic acid bacteria (LAB), acetic acid bacteria (AAB), and yeast to form several sour foods and beverages such as kombucha.)
Once you get the hang of it, you can create your own flavours and from this single kit you can create a lifetime supply and personal stash of your own kombucha. It’s natural, vegan too, it’s high in vitamin C, it can elevate your mood and make you feel great, you know precisely what’s in it – because you put them there, it’s healthy and delicious.
As well as creating a health conscious gift in the first instance, it’s can also turn into a long term hobby which you can invole the family in, and every latest batch can also create a lovely gift for others. Love that.
It’s well worth considering as a gift for a woman in your life.
Body Butter Christmas Tree – WIN!
£14.99 from Mad Beauty

We think this is well described as a stocking filler plus. It’s not going to fit in a stocking but it’s a lovely gift wonderfully themed for Christmas and something women tend to love. It’s lovely and it’s super useful! It’s packaging is a Christmas tree and the six individual body butter tubs are themed individually t00 – you get two of each; mince pies, velvet plum & vanilla, marshmallow. These represent the tree’s baubles, clever eh? Really lovely to have these to use all over the festive time.
We think it’s a perfect gift for a little one to wrap for mum, or grandma 🙂
Hand Sanitiser & Hand Lotion – WIN!

From £2.50 at Mad Beauty
This year more than ever, boy do we need these in our lives. The super handy sanitiser bottles come with a karabiner to quickly hook on or off your hand bag (or even a school bag) so it’s always there to grab a you leave the supermarket and can be easily re-filled with your own stash of sanitiser. They’re illustrated with a lovely Christmas theme and it works really well when coupled with the very cute hand lotion and nail file set, to create a brilliant stocking filler.
North Pole Hand Care Set £4.99 – North Pole Clip & Clean Sanitiser £2.50
Gin-gle Bells SweatshirtÂ
£24.99 from Rocket and Rose

This is a fun way to spend Christmas or rather some of the time over Christmas at least, in a fabulously gin-themed Christmas sweatshirt. It’s a gentle and more stylist nod to the traditional ‘ugly’ Christmas jumper that we all know and love, but keeping it real too because let’s face it during lockdown most of us are dressing down. So at the end of the day, or as your rise whichever is your choice, when you throw on your sweat pants, twin it with the Gingle bells sweat top too. Love it.

We wont be with our close family this year unfortunately
ours won’t be much different other than not visiting family to deliver presssies
It is going to be a strange old Christmas. We are trying to gift more sustainably this year with less waste …. wish me luck!
We won;t be seeing family this year – not taking any chances.
I won’t be seeing my parents as my mum will only have just finished her cancer treatment. Too risky for her.
Having a major op today so no mixing with family over Christmas unfortunately. Looking forward to a totally different Christmas Day with just my husband and some lovely artisan produce rather than the usual Turkey and trimmings.
We normally go away for xmas and new year but that isnt going to happen this year which is weird for us to stay home. We also usually do a mahoosive family meal out but again this year it wont happen as we are restricted in how many people can gather at a restaurant/pub
It will be very strange. It’s the one time of the year when all my family come together but not this Christmas.
None of the family we usually have will be here as I am shielding. We will still have dinner and open presents, watch some soppy Christmas movies and be grateful we are alive and well.
it will just be me, hubby and daughter, just for one day it doesn’t seem worth the risk of putting the mother in law in harms way
Unfortunately my siblings are their families who live in Ireland won’t be able to come and spend Christmas with me and my family. So disappointed xx
Christmas will be very different, won’t be seeing all the family anyway.
I really don’t know at the moment – we are waiting until nearer the time to make plans. It might not be radically different as we have a very small family and it’s not usually more than two households or 6 people meeting up anyway.
Sorry to be bah humbug, but we will be severely reducing our Xmas gift buying this year. Our children are grown up and don’t live at home, so although we’ll see one, we probably won’t see the other, who is buying a house next year, so I’m suggesting we don’t bother with Xmas presents but get them something they need when they get the house. There is not really much we, as parents, need, and we hate waste, so will buy my daughter anything specific she requests. Boring, I know, but practical.
My family in Australia including my grandchildren were supposed to be coming for an English Christmas this year. Obviously that has been put on hold so it will be a very quiet one with a hook up to Australia on the internet to see them on Christmas Day. Not as exciting but just glad we are all well
Christmas will be totally different this year sadly. Normally my family gather together for 2 days (Christmas Day and Boxing Day) of family fun, laughter and making memories. This year however, it will be just 2 households with us.
my mum aont be coming this year as trying to keep safe
We will be spending a lot of time at home and within our bubble. Will see parents christmas day.
Lost my mum in July, so it’s going to be a strange Christmas. My sons won’t be here for the first time in all their lives – more than 30 years. Still, put the kettle on and get out the chocolate 🙂
We will be not visiting my parents this year – taking no chances!
