Friendly Frogs puzzle review

At first when we got this puzzle I thought it would be a breeze and me and my family would be able to do it within half an hour. How wrong I was… As we started to do it I quickly realized that this was going to take significantly longer than I originally thought.

I would say the puzzle took us about 3 hours, so it definitely kept us entertained for a bit (it also killed our backs and knees in the long run as we did it on the floor!). I would say the reason the puzzle was hard to do was because of the picture. There were lots if frogs the same colour so you could never be sure if the yellow and black pepper piece was for your frog or the other 3 that everyone else was doing, not to mention all the leaves that looked the same! ( It was because of these factors that the puzzle very nearly  had a few flying lessons out of the window).

friendly frog puzzleOverall this was a lot of fun. I would say that this puzzle was aimed for 8 year olds because of the picture (I say this because my 8 year old brother who is a fan of animals liked the picture), but I think that the whole family can join in as well (it is because of this puzzle that we have started to do puzzles again).

Friendly Frogs puzzle reviewWe have probably bitten off more than we could chew though because we are currently doing a 1000 piece puzzle, that we have spent several hours on and we aren’t  even a quarter of the way through it!

With huge thanks to Matthew for his fabulous review of the Friendly Frogs puzzle.
