How to get Prosecco for less than £3.50 a bottle

We know the supermarkets have their sporadic 25% off savings when you buy 6 bottles and 25% is not a discount to be sniffed at but did you know there’s an easy as pie way to save an additional 10%.

This means that a bottle of Prosecco will ultimately cost just £3.45!

To the savvy shopper, Cashback is the dogs wotsits. Simply set up an account with your preferred cashback site and use the link from that site to buy all those things you would buy anyway: Home insurance, car insurance, groceries, toys, car tyres, in fact you name it, you’ll find a cashback for it.

There’s a few cashback sites out there but for the purpose of the £3.45 Prosecco we like Quidco.

 

Here’s how it works.

Create an account here at Quidco:

Search for Waitrose Cellar and click where it says ‘shop now’:

Note that should you see a page not found error, pop into your settings and click on ‘show’ for adult websites – this is just a security measure for younger users; this is set as ‘hide’ by default.

Once clicked on ‘shop now’ you’ll see a pop up confirming you’ve been tracked this far:

Then you’ll arrive at Waitrose cellar:

Find your Prosecco (or any wines for that matter)

These are the cheapest 3 available, make your choice of 6 or more bottles to activate the 25%:

Place your order

And then buy in the same way you normally would. Note that should you spend £60 or more you’ll be entitled to free click & collect delivery.

You should then receive a confirmation that your purchase was tracked and within a short time you’ll have the 10% cashback put into your Quidco account. It won’t be available immediately – they have to make sure you don’t return the item for a refund…

Should you not receive the tracked purchase confirmation, get in touch with support. You will be able to cancel the purchase should you need to.

TIP: Doing this regularly you’ll soon build up a good amount in your account, you can then have it paid into your bank account, your PayPal account or receive Amazon vouchers.
