Thank you for visiting my Race for Life post-sponsorship page.
Here's a scary thought...cancer will effect 1 in 3 of us. I didn't need much more motivation than that, so I found time within my already packed out days to train for a 5k race. 5k...only 3 miles but it’s hard work when you’ve never done it before! If you haven’t done a race for life I can thoroughly recommend it, somewhat tiring I grant you but the feeling from reaching that finish line is just amazing.
The race is finished now - I made it in 35 minutes and 54 seconds, complete with tutu and fairy wings!) but I’m keeping it up and I am continuing to run, I’m a runner now and love it and if I can make even a small difference to caner research then all the better.
Thank you to everyone who sponsored me for my first race, you’ve helped me raise some extra cash for cancer research, so I hope you’ll sponsor me again for the next one, or maybe even join me??
As promised, a race for life sponsor means a link for life, here’s everyone who contributed to the cause (who left their web address at least):
