Although we think all of our products will appeal, here are a few of my favourites....

MUMS's Shopping List

We carry some fantastic products from the Mum's Office Range that are amazingly practical, relevant and essential for helping Mum's keep a family, household and life running smoothly. With unique Mum friendly features like a meal planner that includes a tear off shopping list, we think the Mum'sShopping List is a must have!

Fizbag

Being Green is great, but add style and ultimate convenience and you have something really special! The Fizbag is probably the best idea to ever come to re-usable bags. Bigger than the average carrier bag,  it folds down to a size smaller than most mobile phones and with new designs each season, you can be sure that your Fizbag will always be in fashion.

We offer goodies, treats and essentials to calm, organise and revitalise you, restore some intimacy and keep you looking fabulous

Why should customers and clients use your services?
Being a mum is brilliant, but it's not always brilliant feeling like one. That's where Dyna-Girl comes in.

We can help you feel like a woman again with goodies, treats and essentials to calm, organise and revitalise you, restore some intimacy and keep you looking fabulous! Find Serenity, Strength and Sparkle.

When & how did you start up in business?
I first had the idea last February and it was developed with my husband who has done all of the website and marketing himself. While the site was being developed I worked on sourcing products and developing the product range.

How did you decide what business to go into, and what was your motivation?
I am the Mother of two beautiful girls, who were born within two years of each other. Having them so close together has been tough on both my body and my lifestyle and for a while after the birth of my second daughter, I felt very down, unattractive and completely disorganised! I spent a lot of time I didn't really have, scouring the Internet and shops for underwear that would hold it all in, products that would keep me calm, items that would make my life easier and make up to hide the evidence of the sleepless nights! I realised that there wasn't one place I could find for women to go to, to buy products for themselves, to make themselves feel good, and the idea behind Dyna-Girl was born.

What were the most challenging aspects to setting up?
We got ourselves a fabulous accountant very early on and he has provided us with a lot of invaluable advice along the way which has helped us with the legal aspect tremendously.  We also have a huge advantage in that my husband knows the web industry inside out.  So, I would say that the most challenging aspect has been not having the resources to buy all the stock I would like immediately!

What has been your biggest business achievement?
My first sales order was one of my best moments!

Have, or do you do anything out of the ordinary to benefit your business?
Each product on the website has been seen and tested by us and we undergo a strict product category placement to make sure that it would definitely make someone feel better in whatever way we can!  We feel that this aspect makes our site unique and we hope it is a little sanctuary to Mums out there!

What stage is your business at now & what are your plans for the future?
We are still in the early stages as we only launched in January and our advertising campaign starts in March.  Our immediate plans for the future are to increase customers to the site by focusing on our advertising.  We also want to make sure that the site is fresh and so we are constantly looking out for new and different products to add to the range.

How do you manage to juggle your business with family life? Has it been challenging?
It is very challenging as my girls are still very young so we do as much as we can in the evenings and at the weekends so they are not neglected!

Has online networking, specifically with other mums, benefited your business?
Online networking was crucial for us at the early stages.  We launched a survey and advertised it on numerous mums websites.  Many women were very kind to give us their time and opinions and this was invaluable in helping us develop the product range.

What resources do you NOT have now that might make your life easier?
money :)

What advice would you give another mum considering starting her own business?
Make sure that you research everything thoroughly and plan it to the last detail.  I can be very impetuous but my husband has kept me grounded and this has meant that everything has been methodically done properly with no cut corners! I think that this makes your business much stronger. Also be creative in keeping your fixed costs as low as possible - you will be amazed at the people you know who can help or how willing suppliers/partners are to negotiate agreements that will help you do this.
