Since joining Baghappy six months ago, I haven’t looked back,
I was very nervous to start with as I hadn’t worked for a long time, I didn’t want to work full time and wanted something that would fit in with the Children, but was also interesting and allowed me to use my flair and fashion sense.
I have now got six local shops to sell the bags, and I go and see them every week, and they just love the accessories!
It’s a little daunting at first, especially as you are able to choose the prices you sell at, and sometimes you cant quite believe how good the prices are, but after a couple of times selling a little too cheaply, you find the right balance.
I also try and run a Home Party about once a month, I love seeing the look on my friends faces, once I have merchandised the bags, and transformed their living room into a Bond Street Boutique. Of course once the wine is flowing, everyone relaxes and cant wait to bag a bag!
Over the weekend I always make sure I keep a few copies of the catalogue with me, its amazing how many friends, and neighbours you bump into, and they all love browsing through cos its set out in such a fun way.
Next week im going to go round to my local beauty salon and leave a couple of copies there, im friendly with the receptionist and she will make sure that it gets pride of place on the desk. (of course, because of my flexibility in pricing, I am able to offer her a small commission for everything she sells!)
