Campus for Mums

A potentially fabulous new initiative has been launched for mums in East London, it’s in a building that’s run by Google but aimed at providing office space and events for startups..

Called Campus for Mums and based on a similar, successful programme in Tel Aviv, it’s a free, baby-friendly programme for parents (non-parents welcome too) who have an idea for a business or are developing their business idea.

There will be over 8 sessions on Tuesday mornings (with a break for half-term), they will introduce attendees to founders and team members from companies like Etsy and Parcelgenie to develop their skills in product development, marketing/branding, seeking funding and more, with the eventual goal of a demo day where attendees can get feedback on their products/ideas from investors. Parents are able to bring their babies (up to 18 months) along, too.

The programme begins 1st October, the application process has JUST opened up (there are only have 40 places) so use the form here to apply.

And please let us know how you get on, we’ll post a review on our blog!
