News from HMRC

Knowing what your obligations are when it comes to tax is incredibly important. As soon as you become self employed, or start a business you should inform HMRC, and moving forward you must keep records to show your income.

But we know it can all be very daunting, especially during the early days of worrying that you’re doing it right.

It’s really nothing to worry about and as a partner of HMRC we receive news as it happens; new guidelines, advice and the many excellent online seminars they prepare. It’s great information, and we’ll post it all here for you to browse at your leisure – or search frantically on the 30th January. That part is up to you.

Perhaps tip no.1 should be to get your tax return done and dusted before the kids break up for Christmas. Then you’ve got no worries and the 31st January will simply be another day for you.
